Rate per 15 minutes
also: SLpM · per 15
A count divided by time fought, scaled to 15 minutes: the length of a full three-round fight.
Formula
rate = count / seconds fought x 900Fights run from a few seconds to 25 minutes, so a raw count says more about how long a fight went than about how a fighter fights. Dividing by time fought puts a first-round knockout and a five-round decision on the same scale.
Fifteen minutes is used rather than one because it is the unit a fan already thinks in, a full non-title fight, and it keeps the numbers whole enough to read at a glance.
The common mistake
A fighter with two short fights has a very noisy rate. get_leaders requires a minimum number of fights for exactly that reason.
